Pintrest Ban?

Just tried to post something to Pintrest and got the popup message:

Oops!

Sorry! We've had to block pins from this area
because of suspicious activity. Please try again later.

Anyone seen this before? By 'area', do they mean of the site I was pinning from or where I am located?

I pinned away quite happily this morning and then started getting that message. Can only assume there were a few of us pinning eBid listings at the same time and Pinterest got a bit worried.

So... Pintrest is where you pin things you find interesting... but if something is so interesting that many people find it interesting then it is 'suspicious'?

I registered with Pinterest last night, just tried to pin my first pins, got same message, clicked back, tried again, pin was accepted second time, added another.

Going back there to add more, hopefully.

I have just had the same message, I have contacted their support centre about it.

I was pinning, but NOT from ebid..............and I got the message. I think they must have some glitch. I thought the message referenced the source of the article..mine was on linguistics.......

I've had this glitch before. Sometimes if you try to pin again, even straight after you've had the message, it's okay and goes on the second time around.

That's what I was doing, once I realised I didn't need to click back.

Seems to be working fine now.

Is there a way to view my Pinterest boards how users see them?

It is still giving the warning, but if you click enough times, things do pin.

Emmily - go to the upper right corner in pinterest. You should see your logo, name, and a drop down box. If you click the icon to the right, you can see who pinned your pins, etc. If you use the drop down box, go to the first option....your boards.....that's what I will see when I go to your page. Also shows how many you are following, and how many, including me, are following you!!
