Thread: are YOU buying on ebid when you can

I always check eBid first. But have not always been able to get what I want. If the item is here and the price is equal to or less than elsewhere, then I buy here. I would also add that if the price is only minimally more than elsewhere, then I would still buy from here 1st.

I rarely buy from EBid simply because I don't want to muck about with a ASQ to the seller first then wait for an answer to make sure they are still active.

When I buy something online I just want to buy & pay quickly then move onto something else. Unfortunately the only time you can do that here is when you buy from another forum member who you know is still active.

Even though I have had a shop on here for about 4 years, I have bought more than I have sold.

What a good job that most potential buyers do not follow your example otherwise sales would be very low!
It is easy to see if a seller is active. When you look at the page with the details of the item for sale, you can see details of when the seller was last active on the site.

That at must be new then because the advice I kept reading in the forums was to always make sure the seller was still active by ASQ first before buying &/or wait for an invoice before paying

    I always look here first

and within the last 10 minutes I have made a purchase & saved a couple of £'s also.

Just small items, but B&Q are selling them for £5 each.....and on here i've just paid £2.99 for TWO!!
    Howzabout that for a bargain!

If anyone is interested i'm now looking for a "powder" fire extinguisher.

The first place I look for things is on Ebid.

Recently bought seeds, and then pocket watches, good items at a good price.

Unfortunately, it is not always the last place I look as I can't always find what I want on Ebid.

Specialist items I have looked for recently: diabetic socks and gluten. No items for sale.

Regular items, such as zip-lock small plastic bags, Ebid doesn't have items in the price range I expect.
