New Seller joined the Ebay Exodus

I dont think they are, the platform of ebid is not what it use to be, where this is more of a self promote market place now, it use to be an auction site that was supposed to rival ebay in it's future

And Feebay admit that they are no longer an auction site.

"During Tuesday's first-quarter earnings call, eBay's CFO Bob Swan said, "Fixed price represents 76% of our business grew 19%, but auction volume declined 9 points due to changes in consumer preferences and slower consumer selling." The fee changes are clearly meant to revive auction listings"

I'm another one from ebay, that thread about eBid I posted on it about 2.00am before it disappeared, saying I'd purchased some items from eBid, and I was finding out what is was like to buy before I started selling on eBid. Ideally I think all sellers should do that, buy before you sell, how do you know the process your buyers are going through if you haven't been through it yourself. ;-)

I'll be looking for more things to buy today, support eBid as well as use it for selling.

Is everyone from TOS including a note in their packages letting their buyers/customers know they're selling on eBid as well, that may help to bring more buyers here.

I am a bit confused as the first of your seller feedback is dated 2008.
So you are not really new to the site, but I hope you'll stay and have lots of sales.
Just wondering what put you off listing before this?

The butterfly postcards are lovely, now I just have to find frames to fit them to put them on the wall in the butterfly room, what we call our spare bedroom.

Teddyrose, are you meaning me, as I registered with eBid in 2008, that's all I did, just register. It's TOS constant anti-seller actions and attitude that has driven me to finally try buying and selling on ebid.

There were some more favourable comments on that thread than there has been in the past, I am surprised it lasted as long as it did, but hopefully a few more potential buyers and sellers saw it before it disappeared

I totally agree with you Zara, it was the poster with the long posts with personal experience of selling on eBid, though my memory is so bad I don't remember exactly what they said, that persuaded me to give eBid a try, though I had been considering it for a few weeks.
