  1. #1

Default I want to advertise Ebid on my website

I own and run the MG Rover Owners Club www.mgr-forums.com... Take a look guys also would appreciate if any one joins to boost numbers,
any way, I can add banner ads to the top of the page as you can see already, does any one know where i get a PHPBB code to an Ebid banner, iirc, the code needs to be in Raw HTML, does Ebid already do one of these

I am not sure about banners, but I would play around with embedding an advert on the page like this:

    <object data="http://uk.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?go=1&mo=search&category=&type=keyword&wor ds=mg+rovers&go=" width=100% height=150> </object>

This is the result of the code above, a functional but banner height insert of Ebid page searching for MG Rover:

You can make it smaller by changing the parameters in the code

less width, width= less than 100%
less height height= less than 150

By the time you do that it might be better to have a picture which is a link.

The link would be http://uk.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?go=...=mg+rovers&go= as before, but you will need a picture on the web which you click to jump to the page.

    Code would be:
    <a href="http://uk.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?go=1&mo=search&category=&type=keyword&wor ds=mg+rovers&go=" target=new><img src="http://location of your picture" height=howbigdoyouwantit></a>
