Not sure how my father is....

When we arrived to see him he was totally out of it and asking for his mum (you have to remember he is 84) and also where was he and how did he get there.....

By the time we left, just over an hour later, he was totally with it and talking as though nothing had happened....

We will see how he is tomorrow

Somer, I do so understand what you are going through.
My mum is 86, and some days we all fear the worse - then she picks up again and we are left wondering what the future will bring.
It is very, very hard to bear the stresses of news that your loved one is ill - and their health/state of mind are gradually deteriorating with each new week/month.
You are fortunate that you can visit your father, so spend as much time as you can with him.
I'm a good 4+ hour drive away from my mum, and I get so scared when my sisters tell me my Mother is not too good.

Please don't stress yourself about your YDC listings - most of us know what it is like when you have illness or something that crops up at the end of YDC that prevents prompt dispatch or payment.
