How's the weather today?

It's been unseasonably warm and sunny here in Buffalo, NY USA - we should've had snow in October. We didn't have any last year either until December.
Cool today and the leaves have only fallen about 50%. If they all don't drop soon we might have another situation like October Surprise a few years ago when t rained, froze and the leave and trees were bent and damaged homes, cars and someone died from a fallen tree that was frozen and heavily laden with used leaves. Waiting for tomorrow's snow (so the weather station says). Otherwise, clear so far and bundled up for work.

It was sunny and warm in Colorado when I was visiting my kids a couple weeks ago.....80's* F and lovely! Cold back here in the UK, but has been a bit foggy and damp this past week, and not so cold. We can't complain, tho..........here it is Mid Nov. Just think - next month the days start getting longer again!

Just looking at the flooding going on again.

I remember, as a nipper, that the road drain cleaning machines were a regular sight (we used to follow them around to see what they pulled out [a lot of money on one occasion]). I haven't seen one of the trucks in years. Could this be one of the contributing factors in flooding being worse that it needs to be?

Cold, Grey, Winter.

last week it was warm bright and Spring-like!

My daff bulbs are growing strongly because they are confused by the weather, as are the birds that were singing a dawn chorus too!

Today is a nice sunny, bright, crisp and frosty-white morning here.

The weather is like that here in Somerset, was very chilly when taking the dog this morning, gad thermals on but was still cold so went straight to the shower, that helped.
