The sun nearly came out here before, it's decided to hide behind dark grey clouds now.
It's warm because there is hardly any breeze.
I wonder when hurricane Gonzalo will land here?.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
It's a bit blowy and grey here, but no rain.
The Met Office has issued a Yellow warning for strong winds on Tuesday.
"The remains of Hurricane Gonzalo will run eastwards across the Atlantic, reaching the UK on Monday night, bringing a period of strong winds and heavy rain to the UK. The strongest winds are expected on Tuesday as the low pressure clears eastwards. Some uncertainty remains in the track and intensity, but there remains the potential for localised disruption to travel, especially as the strongest winds will coincide with rush hour in places. Fallen leaves impeding drainage increases the risk of surface water affecting roads, while some damage to trees is possible, given that many are still in full leaf.."

We enjoyed a 21*C sunny day today. I wonder what is in store tomorrow?
We also had a lovely day here in sunny Suffolk, after a rainy morning.
The sun appeared, temps rose to 19/20*C mid afternoon and then the winds freshened, and it dried all my washing on the line in a couple of hours.
We had a most beautiful evening, pink clouds floating past a blue sky, winds dropped a little, and it has been unseasonably warm, so I'm not complaining at all!
I was too busy to notice the weather this afternoon !
My friend who lives a bit north-east of Bremerhaven also had a temperature of 21°C today but it was raining, rain is forecast there tomorrow too.
I hope you are enjoying your hol Tante Grete
Opa Graham.

Well, the Met Office was spot on, very strong squalls of wind and rain here since early morning.
I went outside earlier just to visually check the roof tiles were OK, there was a loud crash from inside my flat, it turned out to be the loft hatch had been lifted up by a gust of wind that went through the front door and up the stairs to my hallway!
Stay safe folks and please beware of the strong gusts of wind if you must go out.

Windy; **VERY** windy and has been most of the night
Total non-event here. The BBC local weather forecast insists it is blowing a gale and chucking it down with rain outside. In reality there is hardly enough wind to stir the trees (I could fart stronger) and brilliant sunshine.
Living atop of what passes for a hill in Lincolnshire we usually cop for the worst of what's on offer.

Very strong wind and driving rain overnight.
All is calm now, but we are expecting what they call a 'weather bomb' today, the ferries across the Mersey are not sailing, there is a warning of high wind on all motorways in this area, don't think I will be venturing out today!

Blustery - to say the least after a howling gale all night
