How's the weather today?

A light dusting of sleet/snow overnight which is now melting away. Lovely to see blue sky and sunshine, even though it's only 4 degrees.

Getting better on Lancs coast

Lovely here, was going to walk up to the post office, (had a direct hit yesterday, sorry Grandma Sarge) but after 50 yards carrying my shooting stick realised my legs would not stand up to the 2 3/4 mile round trip after being busy in the garden yesterday and as no public transport passes my home did not want to get stuck so took the car to the edge of town and walked the rest. (it's more like a village than a town) hopefully when we can sit and eat inside I will be able to walk there and sit and have a coffee in the little bakery we have before starting back.

The wind has died down this morning, it was so strong overnight it broke one of Lytham windmill sails.

Still damp and cold - got the heating on tonight.... brrr

and us in fact it has been on most of the day, rained all day and it's really cold

Yesterday was wet & miserable all day & had to put the heater on all day was not comfortable with out the heat on.
