We had a pretty good storm last night, but we needed some rain.

This morning, my poppies were bursting open.

Would you believe that over 40 years ago when I purchased my house that hay field on the other side of my garden was 4-5 pens with pigs in it. They would come over when I would rain and take out the electric fence.
And my yard was a hay field that I hand sickle before I could start mowing and reclaiming that yard.

It's been a glorious day here in Suffolk, very hot and wall to wall sunshine all day.
Apparantly, it's going to get even hotter as the week progresses - 27C tomorrow and sunshine all day - Yayyy!
Must have a moan though, ugh! Darned flies everywhere, driving us nuts.
I think it's the pig manure that the farmers spread over their land ..... dammit!
