Sleet here.
This what it's like all around us here in Mid Wales. This is the Mid Wales Airport at Welshpool just north east of us.
Mid Wales is now just a giant inland lake with all major access roads closed.
Sunny, but breezey. Hope it stays that way !
Lovely sunny start to the day here but still a little cool.
My first daf of the year is in full bloom and the blackbirds are making a nest in one of my bushes.
Spring is on the way!
(officially March 20th)

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
Nobody else having any weather ? LOL!
Well, I fear that winter is back, it's changed from a warm and sunny start today to a cold, grey, breezy day.
Tommorrow is British Summertime start? That figures.
I still have only the one daf out, the last bout of windy weather flattened it, but, it's now tall and strong again.
Stay safe and warm folks.

We have several varieties of daffs and narcissi, the latter have bloomed away and now need dead heading. Daffs are still holding their own, some with bent stems due to the strong north easterly winds here in Suffolk. Most of my spring flowering bulbs look rather sad, so cold with frost at night, horribly windy by day.
Crazy weather here with snow flakes falling and hail stones bouncing about, and very cold with those winds blowing in from the NE.
Magnolias and Camelias blooms have been nipped by the frosts, such a shame.
Longing to feel the warm sunshine on my face .....
"Springtime, springtime ..... wherefore art thou springtime"?!

Doesn't time fly?
Today here it is cold and grey, but at least the rain has stopped, summer (alias winter) is here LOL!
In the back garden, my single daf is till going strong, but the rest don't even have buds on them.
At the front of my house I have just a small strip of grass with some tulips near the wall, one is about to flower and there are a few more with buds on (I am not a gardener, so I don't know if buds is the right term)
Stay safe and warm.

My daughter. Annie. who left home back in 2009, to live in a group home, would have looked out today and told me "Ir's froggy outside"
