Talk about eBid?

I am trying to tell someone that eBid exists each day - just mention that the sales I'm posting are from there in the Post Office or mention YDC or just anything... not a heavy plug, just mention it.

Yesterday someone said "What's that?" which left the way free for a plug!

That is a great way to spread the word. I'm glad when people are proactive.

Ditto Her Majesty, IMHO word of mouth is the best advertising and, best of all, it's free.

I try to mention eBid to people I meet as well, don't run into that many, but cashiers at the supermarket and pizza delivery folks are people, too.

Ive had several people see the ebid parcel tape on my packages when im in the post office, all these people have never heard of ebid.

While I realise that most of us are glued to our puters, does anyone belong to a club which refers to some collecting passion? Mentioning eBid there would be useful!

No clubs here, but I have mentioned eBid on Pogo, my favorite online game site. I've even got a plug for my eBid store on my Pogo profile, not sure it's allowed, but it's been up 4 years now without issue, knock wood.

Im a member of the British button society but ive only managed to get 2 people to sign up to ebid and they havent purchased anything for over a year in fact one of them said that they find ebid confusing to use? A lot of members tend to buy/sell at branch meetings.
Unfortunately a lot of the members are not even online

All of my emails have links to our stores. The back of our business cards have our eBid stores on them. I have sheets I hand out at Flea markets with all the eBid information on them.

I don't understand when people say eBid is confusing. It is like any new thing you just have to start one step at a time. I was a little over the hill when I started and I figured it out. I found it easier than a lot of the other things on the internet.

Couldn't agree more (about ease of use) and I'm the biggest Luddite I know! Plus, if I ever get stuck I know where to come for good friendly advice.
