Limit on the number of items on an invoice.

Would it be possible to issue an invoice for more than 99 items. I have just sold over 100 items and I have had to issue two invoices. If the buyers pays the two invoices seperately this means two Paypal or Skrill charges.
Why are we limited in the number of items per invoice?

I seem to recall someone saying that the number of items per transaction/invoice is a PayPal limitation that eBid have to conform to. Whether that is true or not I have no idea.

While it is not I would send a paypal invoice for the total outside the ebid system.

Yes but I can confirm that a direct PayPal created invoice for the sales total cost does not solve the problem that the eBid Packing List will only show the last 99 items bought by the customer.

I know this as I sold 254 low value stamps to a new member and had to create a simple spread sheet to sort the stamps into sequence for order picking and printing out.

Still I am not complaining.

This is a problem we would all like - well, tbh, I'd prefer to be selling 254 high priced stamps - but eBid want us to sell more so they need to make it easy for us to pack so that we don't waste good listing time.

Just had the 125 item invoice issue.

The best work around I could think of at the time was two invoices, one with 100% discount on items and postage, I.e. zero invoice, and the second invoice adjusted to include also the amount that should have been on the first invoice.

Very clumsy and looks like a fiddle.

Well, If it has to be a paypal payment - then send invoice away from the eBid pages... that way it is one payment/one fee

99 is the PayPal limitation. We didn't have the restriction on our invoices before we had bug reports of not all items being paid for at PayPal so we had to decrease it to match.
