Default Climate change - latest shock forecast.

The Met Office has today issued a forecast for future weather patterns:

In the winter it will be warmer and wetter, but it may sometimes be not so wet, and colder.
Summers will be hotter and dryer, except when we have a washout like 2012, when it will be less hot, and wetter.

Seems that it will be pretty much as it has always been - some cold winters, some mild winters, some hot summers, and some not.

This is offered as "evidence" of climate change.

I have my own forecast - we will have weather of some sort for the foreseeable future and probably even beyond that. Oh and global warming or not it will rain in Rochdale.

We just had the mildest winter I can remember.

I have last years nasturtiums and geraniums still going and flowering next to the daffodils. I can cope with that.

I'm rather disappointed that we haven't had the global warming we were promised.
I had planned to grow my own bananas.
