Beautiful letter Vonz. Agree with the previous poster, perhaps we could send the monies raised to Ron's family and allow them to donate as they see fit? Just a thought...

    Happy almost YDC,

    Happy almost YDC,

Yes but if Vonz is not getting any reply from the family because they haven't picked up Ron's letters or had them forwarded by the post office then she won't be able to do that as she won't know where to send the money !

I seem to be going around in circles.....all the while feeling like some kind of stalker!

I'll give Facebook another try tonight.....& message a few more of Ron's family.

Can you find an announcement in his local newspaper website, giving the details of the funeral, as it may say a charity to send donations to.

Well folks...i'll have to admit defeat......

Time has come to make a decision on Ron's family's behalf...

So after much discussion (off the forum), a few of us have come to the conclusion that Ron was a great supporter of Children's Charities. Also, many of the bidding wars were fought over "sweeties" for his Grandchildren.

Therefore, with this in mind, I HAVE CHOSEN - SHOOTING STAR CHASE CHILDREN'S HOSPICE which is based in Ron's home county of Middlesex.

I hope everyone is in agreement with this decision - it has been a really tough call to make.

That is a great choice Vonz and I'm sure Ron would have been proud of us for supporting such a good cause in his name.
