so youd like to see a big listing injection Try listing a few more items than 3 , sales encourage sales

its all very well you telling people what to do why dont you lead by example open a store, populate it, call it purple and show us what you can do

I agree. I have always believed that "If you build it, they will come."
So if you don't want ebid to be just a field of dreams.

You all need to list much more. This is especially true of business sellers.

Duplicate listings will only damage the site.

I'm not sure if it's available on ebid yet but multi variation listings are far more preferable.

Oh, I really should have checked on the OP's profile before posting - he has not sold anything since 2012 and has nothing listed.

OP, if you are not investing any effort in eBid, you can't expect your comments to be taken seriously.

Why should eBid give the impression of growth? It is growing. Well over half my sales are to newbies and my listings total goes up every day (unless I sell more than I have time to list).
Great, so how can ebid attract many more sellers like you ?

    Back to the original post...

I wouldn't want to see eBid allow duplicate listings at this stage. I would however like to see all listings available for viewing no matter if the seller is willing to ship to your location or not.
It has been stated and I know from personal experience, if a buyer wants an item they will contact a seller and ask if they could buy the item realizing a large shipping cost. I believe showing total listings on eBid would allow a view of more listings and variety.

most if not all business sellers have more than one item to sell (yes you have 3 listings but they are all for the same item, just worded differently) so maybe along with dormant accounts maybe ebid should get rid of all business sellers with less than 50 items listed or who are not using an ebid store.... there are a lot of of sellers here who are listed as Individual sellers who have a hell of a lot more listings than you have ever had listed here, and yet I don't see them coming on here and telling ebid how to run the site.

It would appear this idea would be very popular amongst most UK forum posters.
