Variations listing

Hi, is it possible to have variations ?? different colours

i have 40 colours for each product

so say i have 5 products .. that makes 200 items ... so when buyer visit my store they won't see all of my products .. i know i wouldn't go through 40 pages just to see different colours

i havnt seen anything with variations here on ebid

Your item has 40 colors you have to list it 40 times.

not good this needs to change... buyers would think i'm only selling 1 item with different colours (usually 1 item drives traffic to the next one)

I know i wish you luck on getting it changed.
I asked for a while.
I list some items here and there.
I dont list what i want because i dont want to list 1 item 100 times just because the color.
To me it would look alot better if you list 1 item and be able to offer 20 to 30 diffrent colors.

This has been requested quite a few times in the past. As far as I know, eBid are not against this idea but we have not heard any news yet of any updates about this. IMHO I believe eBid are working on it.

As an extremely successful seller elsewhere, we are wanting to grow, so have paid our Seller+ fee and now find we cannot sell our variety of colours. This is a serious disappointment and renders our payment a complete waste of money. Please help.

To help, we may need more information. What are you selling, for starters? I doubt your payment will be a complete waste of money.....you just sound like you need a hand getting some things figured out.

You may need to work around the current set-up until individual sale variations are included, but it can be done.

Sorry to be picky here, but you can still list all of your colours, you're merely choosing not to. However I agree that by paying for your subscription and then choosing not to use the features available to you, then yes, you probably have wasted your money.

No one wants variations more than I do (take a dog collar in 8 different sizes with three different colours and 3 different styles, think of all the variations and you'll see why) but as I've said on many ocassions before, given the effect that a change in size may have on weight and therefor postage it will almost certainly require major rewrite of the entire checkout process to make it workable.

So, make the best of what is available instead, and maybe one day it will come.

You can still do it in one listing. On the title state the basics with size choices and state 40 colours, and in the description give the colour and size options and a request that they give the size and colour when purchasing. Not ideal but a way round things until we get the multiple listing option.
