If the name was changed, then in say 6 months any new prospective buyers or sellers would not even think about why ebid changed its name to the new name.

illogical a new buyer would not no the difference so why change the name in the first place,

Very logical actually, it just shows that as a new buyer would not no (sic) the difference, then its not going to hurt them or millions of other people by changing the name.

i have not seen anything that i would deem negative in your suggestions there suggestions/ideas they do not seem to have gained much support via forum members nor by me and reasons have been given thats simply a debate no one whos replied can make any changes but as your debate is a thread on the forum suggestions page it has a good chance of being seen by people who can im sure seeing the replies/debates is encouraged and food for thought

but my original point is i dont want my existing customers or any one elses customers confronted by a name change you failed to answer that point never ever alienate or give reason to alienate existing customers

the name change for new customers makes no sense if they dont know it was called ebid whats the point in changing it you have not given a reason

the only companys that i know that successfully change there trading name are already successful they become part of a bigger organisation and still advertise there original trading name theres a good reason why they do so
