    Default YDC - more poems?

After much swearing and teeth grinding - mainly due to the fact that this was the first time I'd ever attempted such a project - I now have it off to a 'T' and am fired with enthusiasm for further volumes. I like the idea of themed editions:-

    Spring/Easter
    Summer/holidays
    Autumn/fall/halloween/bonfire night
    Winter/Christmas

Thinking I will make up a volume as soon as I have a similar number of poems to the recent YDC book of verse, so do I have a limited edition and just list in the current YDC at that time? Do I print off several copies and offer as a BIN but with the money going to whatever current YDC?

Now at the moment, this is just an idea I'm toying with and will gladly welcome any ideas & suggestions. I hope everyone who contributed to the book of verse had as much fun as I did and maybe the muse will strike again but this time there's no competition so no time limits.

I think you'd get more entries if the subject matter was left to the author. TBH, the eBid theme left me cold.

If you want one for the Christmas theme, you can use this one if you like.

Fair comment Damian; the eBid theme was really just for the purpose of the competition element of the recent book and I will gladly put your poem in a future volume, I thought it was excellent and wished I could write like that.

I had one written for me by an ebid seller. I just wish I could remember where on the PC it is hidden. When I stumble across it I will send it. I am sure the author won't mind, though we could ask permission first

Sounds like fun! I like the idea of several copies, as more people could enjoy the poems. Maybe one for sale could be a round-robin type of thing, where the new owner enjoys it for awhile, maybe signs inside the cover, and relists in another YDC.
    Ta-Ta for now!

That would be great when you do find it but think we should ask the authors permission before reprinting it.

That was the idea behind the YDC BOOK - " read, relist and send it on". Hope people do.
