I search by keyword. If I were looking for mops in a category, it would be Home and Garden/ Cleaning/Mops and Brooms (or whatever)

My guess is that more people search by keyword, as usually (I believe) people are looking for a specific thing, and a keyword is a faster way to narrow down the options.
