I doubt they would ever be seen here, far too much light pollution. Only the very brightest stars can be seen.

Wow, gorgeous pix! I remember my late grandfather telling me about seeing the Northern Lights in Alaska, he said they were just amazing, guess he was right.

Same problem here.

Shame I wasn't down at the cottage this week, where there is no light pollution at all (at least not nearby). We can see the glow of the nearest big town about 12 miles away.
