Ahh ... and so it does. And now on to the renaming question.

You could create a new folder with the name that you want, and transfer the pictures to that.
The original one should then disappear.

I name my folders after members of the Royal Family.

Good idea ... was hoping not to have to go through that process, but it may come to that.
