crafters item

I have an item that i dont know what is called and i need a new one. I call it my pokey tool. It was made by woodware and is the length of a crochet hook but has a sharp point which gets covered with a rubber sheath when not in use. It is tremendously helpful when crafting for all sorts of things but now the point is bent so i need another please

Sounds like an awl or stiletto for making holes usually in leather? I have one somewhere i will have a look later

thank you. I use it for pricking cards or for lifting beads or lifting the backing off double sided tape and foam pads or for making the holes in earring cards or for weeding the bits out a cameo cut etc. It has a thousand uses. I looked up awls but it doesnt have a handle, just a straight piece of metal

I have one or two.....used in paper punching......if I have two, will list one. I forget the name.....piercing tool? Looks a bit like a pen with a sharp end with rubber cover. Also have one with small rounded ends for embossing.

I also have one of the embossing ones but theyre not as useful as my pokey tool

Mael I found I do have two of the paper piercing tools. I would sell you the new one, just as is seen in the Stampin up catalogue.....comfortable ruberized handle, steel needle point, rubber tip cover, all in a plastic tube. 3.75 plus shipping. Will list it here if you are interested...let me know.
