Thread: Code breakers wanted!

  1. #1

    Default Code breakers wanted!

    Can you crack the code?

This is an old coded message from a Gentleman to a Lady, most likely a disguised intimate love message.

Thank you Gill when I read your sentence and your word 'decoder' part of my brain unlocked and I think I may be able to crack this. Most of the first two lines now make sense, so the rest should be relatively easy.

I will bookmark that site - might be useful for more a difficult one.

It was the word think that unlocked everything for me, I knew the first word was 'I' so it was just a case of finding a 5 letter second word.. and then with think the next word this is obvious and then it all follows nicely. The only difficulty was trying to know Fred's handwriting and the difference between qg, b8

I am a bit disappointed though, I wanted the message to be something really eye-opening.

(And I missed out the sweet out of sweetheart ! My scribble pad is not up to the job.)

That's where I got confused,I read some numbers as letters & vice versa.I got to a stage where I just guessed the most likely word.
