We have already reviewed your request. Please review the other categories in that level. Adding manuals in this section would no longer just refer to car manuals. We wish to keep them as a sub category of Cars and Trucks.

They simply don't belong under parts & accessories.You (eBid) have asked in the past for input from people in the know regarding categories as you aren't experienced in all fields.

And our experience shows manuals do NOT sell well here! The lower fees do not help as $15 X 0 = 0!!

This could be because buyers don't think of looking under Parts & Accessories for them!

Regarding your last suggestion similarly here we wish to keep Cars & Trucks only for vehicles not for manuals or parts & accessories.

We would suggest there is a direct relationship with parts and manuals as the manual is effectively a glossary of car parts.

One option would be to amend the Category title from Cars & Trucks Parts & Accessories to Cars & Trucks Parts & Manuals to make manuals more visible. We will review any other alternative but we wish to keep manuals in this section.

If I wanted a manual for a car, I would look under "Books".
Because it is a book.

Following the existing logic, "The Practical Home Handyman, W. P. Matthew" would be listed in "Home & Garden",
and "Learn to Ski in a Weekend, Paperback Book" would be listed in "Sports".

But they aren't. They are listed in "Books".
Because they are books.

Main thing is to have a good title with lots of the appropriate keywords. Most people looking for a Haynes manual for their Fiesta don't look through categories, they just bung something like Ford Repair Manual or Fiesta Service Book into the search.

I know you are right John and I think I have good titles and key words but am not having much luck with the selling so trying everything I know to improve that.
