    Default Food & Drink

    Hi,

I've been looking for a category that would include food stuffs and food related equipment etc. And I would like Food & Drink promoted out of 'Home & Garden' as it seems buried unnecessarily so 'Confectionary' is more easily found as I wouldn't (and a few others I asked offline) think to look in this category.

    Home/Food&Drink/Confectionery
    Home/Food&Drink/Confectionery/Chocolate
    Home/Food&Drink/Confectionery/Fudge
    Home/Food&Drink/Confectionery/HardCandy
    Home/Food&Drink/Confectionery/SoftCandy
    Home/Food&Drink/Confectionery/Prepackaged
    Home/Food&Drink/Confectionery/Bulk

    etc such as...

    Home/Food&Drink/Wines&Spirits/
    Home/Food&Drink/Wines&Spirits/Brewing&Distilling
    Home/Food&Drink/Tea&Coffee/
    Home/Food&Drink/Tea&Coffee/MakingEquipment

    etc

    Wine making YES
    Wine glasses YES
    Wine NO

Just the way the law goes

Don't do confectionery myself - just a diabetic aversion, but I would love to see Ebid embrace some of the rarer foodstuffs that online can do better than the supermarkets.
I have trailing round the big supermarkets looking for wild rice...

I just wanted to add that 'Food & Drink' is buried in the 'Home and Garden' category along with other sub-categories as Bathroom, Curtains, Clocks, DIY & Tools, Curtains & Blinds, Lighting, Kitchen etc etc. I think its insane for Food and Drink to be jumbled with these categories.

It needs to be moved. It took me over 30 minutes to find confectionery as a sub-sub-category... how many buyers will bother to look beyond 5 minutes never mind 30 minutes???

We are unsure as to what you are asking as your examples are very close to the current category levels. You have changed Home & Garden to just Home which will not change the current home category markedly. The sub categories can be found under the food section and are consistent with the setup on other similar sites.
