Dont use punctuation

From reading the rules it is obvious that they disapprove of punctuation; but what if your item contains it? For example I have a book titled Hornet's Nest by Patricia Cornwell. If I am sure that the vast majority of people when searching for a book or similar put in the exact title. But if GS does not allow me to use that it would screw up the search results. I certainly would not think of leaving out punctuation or changing the title.

Maybe you could put the fully punctuated title on the first line of the description, I may be wrong but doesn't the search words include the description to?

Titles and descriptions should be properly punctuated, but punctuation characters should not be used in a way that is not true to their meaning or superfluously.

...though it should be noted that however correct you make your titles and descriptions, eBid will mess them up on upload to Google.

All done. I did have a couple of items with no punctuation in the titles which I noticed had lots more hits than the others, so that makes sense. Glad I asked here thank you all very much for your help. will sit back and wait for some sales now.

I can see my items on Google Shopping.
What I would would like too is that my items are also seen on Google WEB.

How can I arrange that?
It used to be like that when I advertised on Ebay.

Have been seeing my listings on Google Shopping more consistently. Usually access listing by searching my user name. Has anyone been able to bring up listings using general keyword searches? Reason I ask is that most buyers will not be familiar with an eBid username.

Thanks for that, my nibs are on there then but my pens or pen parts don't seem to be. I think they must have been at some stage as some of them have had lots of views. Some have been on here for about 4 months, do they stop putting them on after a certain time? My recently listed ones arnt showing up either?

Hi I also cant find any of my watches on google???? Please someone take a look at my auctions for watches (concentrating on getting these right first) and tell me whats amiss. I have put exempt in barcode, no punctuation in title and inc brand in the brand box??? can figure out the prob, no shipping details also in auction, another no no from what I can gather, Help would be appreciated, thank x
