Do books sell on ebid?

i understand your frustration .....a lot of listing for little return appears to be the way of things over here, elsewhere i can make decent sales...but here?...well, i'm afraid its not great .

The really annoying thing is that a lot of the books I've listed here I know would sell straight away on the OTHER site, but out of principal I'm not listing there until they remove the 10% fee on P & P (and yes I'm fully aware that I'm cutting off my nose to spite my face!)
I really want Ebid to be successful but looking at the buyers who have left me feedback quite a few have only bought 1 or 2 items in as many months so for whatever reason there seems to be very little ongoing business from the buyer base here.

Our local charity shops - six in one town and three in our little village - are all so desperate to get rid of their books that they are selling them 3 for a £1. Those are, of course, fiction. A specialist text book will still fetch a good price.

Click on Settings (just under the green banner at the top of this page). Then click on Edit Signature.

More generally, if you want to know how to do something in the forums here, it's useful to know it's not written by eBid, it's the widely used vBulletin system. So if you google, e.g. in this case for 'vbulletin edit signature', you'll usually find appropriate advice.

By the way, nothing to do with being a novice. I don't think it's at all obvious. But it's difficult to think of a way to design a bulletin board to make such things obvious.
