eBid should get one of the members of their 'team' to issue a correction before too many people visit eBid.com and come away with the wrong impression.

I did think of registering and leaving a comment correcting the error, but then thought 'Why should I? It's not my job.'.

eBid has moderators employed and have suggested they don't need help. I'm sure they are aware of the situation by now and will have it corrected shortly. Right?

They could also just buy the domain name ebid.com and enjoy much heavier traffic.

As for the article, they have hit the nail on the head with regards to eBay, and the more eBay sellers see it the more it will make them think about the future. Also interesting was the statistics for auctions on eBay with 54% not getting a bid and a further 23% only getting one bid. That helps dispel the easy to sell at a profit myth that eBay has.

It should be ebid's marketing department job to do this.

@ Kreative - well spotted for those bidding stats, so not that many bidding wars on ebay !

Don't forget the website in question is aimed at B&M auctioneers who would be in opposition to sites like ebay and ebid. So I can't see them wanting to promote ebid.
