Just to update everyone -
the money has been sent to Canine Partners, and I have received this message :-

We have set ourselves some very exciting challenges in the face of growing demand to increase the number of partnerships that we create each year. With your help we will be able to extend our support throughout Great Britain, providing more people with disabilities with the trained assistance dogs they need.
