I've taken the plunge

I have been dissatisfied with the OTHER PLACE for a long time.
In spite of selling for over ten years, and spending about £1500 a year in fees ( a lot for a pensioner), I get treated like a dimwit, by arrogant people who are greedy.

So I thought I might like to try eBid. I was considering it, when I got this great Private Message from a seller in the US.
That decided me - if this is what people on eBid are like, I want to join. So I did.

I'm now constructing a store, and looking at listing at auction. To be honest, I find it all a bit confusing, and can't find my way round the site very well yet. But that will come in time. I would have welcomed an "Old Duffer's Guide" - step-by-step instructions.

I have some ideas about poaching my old customers, and will continue to list on the OTHER PLACE so that I can put a card in the parcels directing them to my store, as well.

So watch this space for developments, and please give helpful suggestions if you can.

Advice
1) be patient
2) promote your items because Ebid will not.
3) meet the requirements for Google shopping if at all possible.
4) Type YDC in the search bar and bid on some charity auctions.
(that last one is just for fun really)

It does take a little time to get established, but if you persevere the sales will come.

A lot of people find eBid through Google, so make sure when you list, that all your settings are correct to ensure you are seen on Google.
