Social Pages / Boards Suggestions

I wholeheartedly agree that boards that can be full of regular pins and pages with lots of new listings will be a priority, hense the reason this thread was created. All new pages and boards will be created using suggestions from this thread as it is in both our and eBidders interests we do the most popular boards first.
There will be a few new boards / pages created over next couple of days, as well as a couple of other updates to the facebook pages.
As soon as a board is created, all members who have requested invites to previous boards will be invited, if we have missed anyone please let us know and that will be rectified asap.

Well i will need an invite for sure i seem to have to ask for invites everytime a board is created i dont get invited automatically.

I would prefer that vintage knitting crochet sewing patterns had a seperate board to the vintage clothing shoes accessories Pinterest board, patterns would IMO be better under the craft catagory.

Would Knitting & Crochet on eBid - http://uk.ebid.net/buy/crafts-sewing/knitting-crochet/ page and board be better? so not just limited to patterns?
If a board becomes busy and crowded then we can see about maybe deviding it more.

We will make a board for Sewing as whole to start with. Think that would be a better option, then diverse them more as and when needed.

Perhaps an Ephemera Board would be a good idea for postcards and other paper collectibles ? Perhaps Clothing Patterns deserves it's own section as they seem to be very popular as well, whereas patterns for toys and other things could remain in crafts. There could also be a Haberdashery section for ribbons,buttons etc . The more separate boards the better IMO :-)

Maybe even have a board just for postcards as there is for stamps? Other ephemera will likely get swamped by postcards if they're combined?

Are there any plans to change the main pictures on the boards at some stage?

I think some of them could be greatly improved - jewellery, antiques and charity auctions for instance - perhaps give every board a small eBid logo to make them instantly recognisable - and then choose a more eye-catching and appealing photo?
