Come on girls & Guys if you want boards for the following please say so!!

Especially to those who wanted a stand alone handmade category - a pinterest board would really help your cause because then ebid would realise how many handmade items there are on ebid.

same with vintage Fashion you can pin clothes & accessories, sewing/knitting/crochet patterns right up to the 1980's, who wants to trawl through modern clothing if they are only interested in vintage ??

The Fashion board that is up and running could be renamed - Modern fashion

I would prefer that vintage knitting crochet sewing patterns had a seperate board to the vintage clothing shoes accessories Pinterest board, patterns would IMO be better under the craft catagory.

I would prefer vintage knitting crochet sewing patterns, vintage buttons buckles etc to have a separate board and not be lost in the crafts section which also includes allsorts of crafts - crafts covers such a wide range of items. if you want to make vintage clothes you need vintage patterns so it makes sense to put them on the vintage fashion board. same with vintage buttons buckles etc.

I shall if it suits pin my vintage patterns/buttons on my own private boards in future if it is going to cause arguments.

When i have time i shall remove all my vintage sewing related items from the vintage fashion board

I have taken all my pins off the vintage fashion board i shall now create my own private boards so there will be no more arguments from anyone in the future!

I was just giving my opinion on your post.
Not for me to say who posts what or where on the ebid boards. I thought suggestions were invited.
Here,s a suggestion why not have a ebid pinterest mixed board with other boards catagory based?

A pinterest board for Antique & Vintage Linen bedding textiles

Perhaps an Ephemera Board would be a good idea for postcards and other paper collectibles ? Perhaps Clothing Patterns deserves it's own section as they seem to be very popular as well, whereas patterns for toys and other things could remain in crafts. There could also be a Haberdashery section for ribbons,buttons etc . The more separate boards the better IMO :-)

The active pinners should come first when any new boards are created.
It only takes 5 mins to create a new board if you havent got time to invite pinners im sure we could all invite each other.

I wholeheartedly agree that boards that can be full of regular pins and pages with lots of new listings will be a priority, hense the reason this thread was created. All new pages and boards will be created using suggestions from this thread as it is in both our and eBidders interests we do the most popular boards first.
There will be a few new boards / pages created over next couple of days, as well as a couple of other updates to the facebook pages.
As soon as a board is created, all members who have requested invites to previous boards will be invited, if we have missed anyone please let us know and that will be rectified asap.
