Buddy Ponts Social - Twitter Not Working?

I've managed to successfully grab Buddy Points for liking eBid on FB and Google+ but can't get the Follow on Twitter to work. Whatever I try I just can't get that pesky red cross to turn to a green tick! I get the little window open up showing I am logged in to Twitter and following eBid, but can't get the points. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone else had an issue with this and do you have any hints and tips or suggestions?
