Thread: NPB listing?

  1. #1

    Default NPB listing?

Is it necessary to "Cancel" a sale after using the "Mark as non-paying bidder" option for an unpaid item?

The FAQ says that an option to request a credit for the fee will appear, but that has yet to show up and I was wondering whether the sale must also be canceled.

This is a reply I got from eBid support concerning one of my NPB items.

For future reference, in the case of a non-paying bidder, you will have the option to claim back your Final Value Fees 3 days after the second payment reminder in the After Sale Log has been posted. You must have left Negative or Neutral feedback for the buyer and reported the bidder as a NPB (non paying bidder), then you will see the option "Refund final value fee" in the ASL drop down menu.

I believe, based on what I have heard others say, that if you cancel the sale you do not get the fees back. So leave the cancel option alone.

Follow Ropegg's instructions, including the 3 day wait, if you have not already. If you have followed them then contact support.
