I have made a decision for YDC 113.
It is Canine Partners - Assisting people with disabilities to enjoy greater independence and a better quality of life, by providing specially trained assistance dogs.

They work closely with Help for Heroes in order to train dogs for individuals from the Armed Forces who are wounded, injured or sick, and who need the work and companionship of very special dogs to gain greater independence in their lives.

My movements are a bit unpredictable at the moment, but I think I'll be around for the next YDC. I must start planning!

I obviously had a blonde moment at the end of 112, because I thought the poncho was Cheaver's auction - I was rather confused when Vonz announced that you were the winner.

My son is very interested in this fundraiser as he is thinking of applying for a canine partner for when he has a larger place.

He has Diabetes and needs someone around to make sure he isn't left alone when having low blood sugars. I understand some of these dogs are trained to work with people in my son's situation...and he LOVES dogs too.
