They will need us to carry the shopping, tell them what they were just talking about, read a map, explain the plot of a movie, order the pizza, and get most pieces of electrical equipment up and running.

I don't know about statistics, but scientific research has shown that, far from being a myth, women do talk more than men. They are far better communicators than males. Actually...they are far better at most things - but don't tell them I said so.
