If this is not sorted soon it could set eBid back months, if not years.

I do add barcodes where I can, but not all my items have barcodes e.g antique & vintage linen, bedding, antiques plus some vintage clothing do not have barcodes.

My listings appeared again at 9.05pm, but are gone again at 9.08pm.
    Kreative
I may be wrong but my understanding of Trish post was there is no barcode box to add the barcode, only the brand box comes up when listing an item.

I quite agree. I certainly don't feel inspired to list new items at the moment with this going on.

TK with all your vintage stuff you need to put the word 'EXEMPT' into the barcode box. At the moment you can only do this one by one as they haven't supplied the facility on the bulk edit. I worked really hard to get all mine done by the 15th July deadline but now I don't know why I bothered ?!!!

Totally agree. I was going to start listing again but I really can't see the point if this problem is not sorted completely. This should not be happening to eBid sellers and IMO it is top priority.

Are the bay having this problem?

I just searched for "calvin klein ebay" and not a single result shows in Google Shopping. It might not just be eBid.

I have opened up a ticket to highlight that despite Gazza's post the problem remains.

I agree, eBid needs to promote itself & not just rely on google to bring in buyers, one hiccup in google & all crumbles apart.

    A bit more investigating:

"pringle lycra boxer ebay" - nothing

"pringle lycra boxer ebid" - nothing

"pringle lycra boxer" - 35 results including 14 from eBay and 2 of mine (I have 13 with the exact keywords). The 2 that are showing one had the barcode, one had EXEMPT. Checked the others and 6 did not have keyword or exempt but another 5 that did were not showing. There are listings that should show from eBay UK.

So it appears that not only eBid but eBay and possibly other sites are being affected to at least some degree. The more I look into this the more convinced I am that it is a Google problem.

    - yep, as I previously stated: - best not to rely on Google shopping in my opinion
