Just got my June newsletter by airmail !

Just went to my mailbox and there was the ebid June newsletter! (by airmail to New Zealand)

Once again they are still offering me a Seller Plus subscription when I already have one.

Nothing about the API or mobile apps (very poor pr)

But good news about the Buynow Purchase feature.

I don't have any problems with the content, but I do think that a major re-think on the format of the newsletter is needed. Out of 6 newsletters for 2013 the breakdown is shown below

Not received 1 ( March spam folder checked)
On Time 2
Late 3 (received early in the following month

I think the newsletter should be scheduled to be sent out on the 1st of each month; that way it would have at worst (in February 27 days in which to be delivered before being "late".

The current delivery timings do not give a good image to a potential audience when the newsletters are delivered consistantly late.

We are currently in the final stage for the launch of the eBid App.

As soon as we get acceptance from the Apple App Store it will be released,

lol yeah its been 5 years since i have been here & the api was suppose to be realeased then.

As regards the API

I wonder if there is one of two problems

1 Ebid does not want to do one for their own reasons - in which case why not just come out and tell us (and why)
2 The structure of ebid's auction site programming was not designed to handle an API and therefore needs a major re-design or a complete re-write which is going to take years and much needed cash. (in which case why not tell us)
