Unhappy Ebid Store adverts in direct competion with my products

Hi I have just set up a new stored with a few products listed.

just asked someone to log in and check how it looked and they pointed out the advert at the bottom of the page is in direct competition to my product, how are these adverts chosen

and if competition is going to be advertised can the ads be turned off?

The ads are chosen by advertising networks that throw up ads based on the viewers viewing.

Ebid has low fees and needs the money.

I think its best just to live with it.

As Juie says, the text on each page is scanned by google spiders and compimentary ads are called up. The same happens here on the forum - if we discuss postage, then courier ads appear. As ebid are paid for this and link to g's shopping there is no way around it apart from feebay style fees.

You can turn them off, but as the revenue pays for Google Shopping you would lose the upload to Google Shopping if you did not have the ads. Personally I am relatively happy to have them as I know that in 99% of cases my item will be cheaper, so it could actually help to clinch a sale for me.

Ok I will live with it, money is money its,

I prefer to have e-bid running at the prices it currently charges, so keep the ads coming - I will say no more

    thanks

It does appear on ebay also. Perhaps not as obvious - but they are there. Our website gets regular its from ebay browsers
