Indeed....this a better state of affairs than if the opposite were true....however, i would ask the question....how commonly do internet use Yahoo....after all i have never heard anyone remark " oh, i'll Yahoo that "?
Incidentally, the same result can be found within google shopping and images, often i have seen listings from ebid at the top of found results.
Sadly, the ebid result is only half way down the page when I search on Google, but I use Yahoo as part of Nectar and I get Nectar points for searching.

Yes....but which is the search engine that the majority of the world use?

Up until late last year i actually had Yahoo set as my default search engine and enjoyed the pretty Home page. I gave up on it due to realising that many search results that Google came up with were missing and i found it a little clunky.
Bing is smooth, but again is only used by few people.
I use yahoo until I've collected the max number of nectar points each month. If I don't find what I want quickly, then I switch to one of the others.
