Okay... I am new.. and I can't find the first question I posted on here...

But I have just gone to look at my items and they have been removed? I am unsure why? Am I not allowed to sell software on here? I thought you were?

We do not send out discs anymore as it keeps the cost down for the seller and us so it is a downloadable item which we send them a link with their invoice that takes them to just a certain page for download nothing else.

So I don't understand?

The same advert is running on EBay.. and is acceptable... but not on here and i have just paid for the seller + can someone answer me please...

Just read it and it isn't actually and emailable product.. it is a downloadble one.. there is a difference isn't there.

The only people that can help you are eBid admin. It is their rule, and they interpret it and enforce it.

If you feel your product is not excluded under the rules as posted, then it is admin that you need to convince of that. What any other users think is irrelevant to getting your listings allowed/re-instated.

If you feel your items do not fall into this category then you are best contacting Support. It doesn't matter what other Sites do or do not... this is eBid

As Astral rightly points out, it is their rules, however I would use the contact form from the help pages, and see if they will give you an exemption.

Will not hurt to ask, your enquirey will be answered by people, not robots with stock answers.

Software that has been copied or duplicated in any format is prohibited. Additionally, academic, OEM, back-up, License Key only, fulfilment, promotional, beta (pre-release), unauthorized freeware/shareware, "softlifted" software versions and digitally delivered software (delivered via email or other electronic means) are prohibited.

Ditto the above, check the banned items list and if you feel your item is exempt, you'll need to write support: support@ebid.net for an OK.

But then I guess they could say the same about anything then if there is more than one item of the same? Not being funny here.. I can put them on a cd... but that is the same... just that they will have to wait for the post and pay more for p and p... All things are copies... Nail enamels, shoes etc.. as they are copies of something that was once original but not email or electronic. But I have asked and we will see. Thanks everyone. If I had seen that then I would have thought twice about coming to ebid... But I do have other things.. that I can use it for just rather frustrating.
