Handmade as a top level catagory

Could you please take handmade out of crafts and give it its own top level catagory or ghost it.
Personally when i search for items i would go to the catagory to look. ie i would never look for soap or baby cardigans under crafts which is where handmade items are now. Same with greeting cards.
Handmade (or Hand crafted) would encourage more buyers to look at these items

Great idea as I have many handcrafted items myself, perhaps something like:

Handcrafted Items
handcrafted items: greetings cards
handcrafted items: knitted goods
handcrafted items: crochet goods
handcrafted items: jewelry

that's just an example, if anyone can come up with a more sensible way, please join in.

agree totally handmade category would encourage more buyers as Handmade is very popular at the moment.

I love to buy all kinds of hand crafted stuff.

Mostly I find what I am looking for some place else where they have hand crafted items in a top category

It just seems that hand made is very popular right now. With a top level catagory selection we could take on Etsy as well as Ebay. I dont want to take my listings elsewhere but handmade just doesnt get the exposure stuck in crafts

I totally agree. We definitely need a HandCraft section (for some reason I don't like the word handmade) as these items are very popular and need top exposure.
