Unhappy Don't want to give up BUT !

Looking for suggestions folks ! I have added Google Check-out, International Shipping, dropped prices ,advertise on Face Book and joined the Buyer and Sellers Group.
Starting to feel like if I just bag it and say first come first served for FREE and see if that works. I have some folks looking but (1) sale in 40 days. Do I need breath mints ?

You need to make better use of Google to get the views and sales. For example your listing "2005 5 Shilling". This says very little about what you are selling. At the very least you would need the word Kenya and coin in the title. But I would go for something like:

"2005 Kenya 5 Shilling Coin Jomo Kenyatta The First President Very Good Condition"

This gives many more keywords and therefore a far more chance of being found and making a sale.

To increase visibility on eBid I would change from RUS to the 7-10 day listings with 10 auto reposts.

You don't have many listings so, change them all to 'live' ones running for 7 - 10 days with up to 10 auto relists. Google don't like words such as FANTASTIC, FREE SHIPPING, GREAT DETAILS, L@@K (for those of you reading this and that do use these) etc in the titles - they usually reject them. Create titles 'intelligently' with as many keywords as you can fit it - don't use symbols such as commas, dashes, brackets etc - these are precious wasted space.

Use the Plug your Auctions forum - you are allowed 1 thread that you can bump up every 24hrs with extra news and offerings. If you create a 2nd thread you must delete (not close) the 1st thread.

    Keep plugging on Facebook.

    Lastly, don't give up!

PS: Kreative has suggested you use the wording Very Good Condition (in some titles) - personally I would use VGC leaving more room for other keywords

(hope you don't mine my suggestion Kreative)

Hello Kreative, Somebody else told me to set up everything in RUS . I had everything on 7 day auctions. I will work on the discriptions though.
    Thanks,
    Jack

Most people would recommend 7-10 day listings with the auto reposts as it gets a few extra views on eBid. The only people I can think of who would list otherwise is those with a large number of listings or those with specialist items that would be searched for only rather than picked up by people browsing. As for the large numbers of listings, I have over 2700 and do not have a problem relisting, it takes 10 minutes at most on most days. I use some 7 day listings and some 8 day so that people visiting my stores or viewing at regular times are likely to see different items.

As for you with the RUS, try improving the titles and possibly a but more on the descriptions and if you still show no improvement try the 7-10 day listings.

10 minutes ?! Surely you mean 10 seconds....

    Jack...

    Good advice given above.........

On the 1916 Beautiful Half Penny - your price is 20 US Dollars... = £12

I am sure if you check prices you will find that it isn't worth that much - in that condition probably about 50p. I would recommend having a look around and checking market value for your items.

    Good luck...

Great advice Jewel. Plugging, Facebook (integrate it with twitter so the FB post show up there too). Set up a Google+ account. Find a keyword generator on the net. Google has one. These are the bread crumbs of the internet that can lead perspective buyers to your items.

    Wish you the best.

I thought of that, but could not find any other good keywords (cue Dean). And my suggestion used all 81 characters.
