I use Trend, it too can be very aggresive at stopping visits to certain websites. If I am at all dubious about a site, I first run the address through securi check.

Definitely a good idea. My Mrs has use it, but I'm a little more skeptical. If it says halt then I will use other avenues to find what I looking for. I've been free from any bugs for 15 years and love it.

I had been clean of bugs for many years, until late last year, when a misclick took me to a ransome ware site, It was not in Trends database, but they managed to clean my PC, logged the site as bad and gave me a further 3 months on my subsription, because they had missed it.

Very nice to get that kind of customer service. I renew mine every year, because they give me a good deal on 3 seats, so I myself, the Mrs and the last little one who lives at home are covered. Our whole computer systems, wifi and entertainment media is done via the net. I could be a little over paranoid...who knows...LOL

You could try copying it and pasting it in the address bar, that usually works when clicking does not.

I believe that any help in advertising is a great idea. I also can not open that site. I have Kasperski too.
