Default Probably a stupid question, but .....

I've been a member for a while but I don't think I've sold before. I'm stuck on filling out the details of the auction. The boxes for starting price or reserve price are greyed out and I can't access them. Only the buy it now box allows me to enter something. No doubt I've checked something somewhere which brought this about but I can't find what.
    TIA

Hi Jane, is the box on Buy It Now ticked? If so, untick it & it will free up the other options.

Thank you. I did try that without it changing anything but now I've returned to the page it seems to have caught up with itself! Presumably that means you can't have an auction and a buy it now at the same time? .... Although - there seems to be some conflict between what you fill in initially and what it asks you to check, so I seem to have achieved starting price, reserve and buy it now all different prices, which is what I wanted. Hope it all works!

Well done. There is no reason why it shouldn't work. You can definitely have auction with BIN price as well. (+ Reserve if you want it).

You can have both, just don't tick the BIN box or the offer one

Yes, you can have both. Put in your bid amount (if being offered without reserve, check the box off); then the no reserve amount will match the first bid amount entered. Then enter a "bin" amount to the far right, but do not click on the "bin only box". Then you will have both, and be picked up by Google because the bin amount is there. Best to you on your sales activities.

Oh, I see you did work it out just fine.
