Hand-Made Items Category

Could the hand-made items be given a top level category of their own instead of being placed under Crafts.
Many people would not think of going to crafts and sewing when they are looking for a birthday card for instance

Shouldn't hand-made cards be in the http://uk.ebid.net/buy/occasions-seasonal/ category along with all the other greetings cards rather than under Crafts & sewing ?

Either has a *Hand-made* sub-category or as subcategory within each occasion category.

The Crafts category, I feel, should be for card making *Supplies* only.

I will raise you another tuppence.

Would think any "hand-made" item would be better suited in it's actual category .. be it card or clothing or bedding with a hand-made subcategory or something in the title.

I know that's the way I look for it when I want to buy it.

If I were choosing, then I'd make handmade an extra "quality", a tick box, so such items would go into their normal category but it would be possible to search for them by that quality.
