When the OP wrote the heading for this thread what time frame did they put on "Ultimately"

Another reason why eBid will eventually win over eBay and Amazon is that they appear determined to lose, certainly as far as the smaller sellers are concerned. I can see the day when eBay will become a shop window for major retailers to offload unwanted stock and a few big players to import dross from China. And Amazon is simply selling items itself, using their buying power to undercut their own sellers. The best strategy for sellers on both sites is to join eBid as soon as possible to get eBid to the position where the big boys see it as a threat. That might make them think twice about how they treat the people who made them what they are, though I doubt it.
