Congratulations! Great choice of a charity to support in the upcoming YDC!
Great choice! I have a good friend who survived only because he was part of a research project and the experimental treatment worked.

Well done Penni, and congrats on winning YDC107.
Like all the others, I think that you have chosen a very good cause, and I shall be supporting you and your chosen charity.
Have a great holiday, and enjoy your time with your grandchildren.
I have knitted something for this YDC, but I'm not sure if I'll list it now given the new postage charges from 2/4. Not sure if I can make it smaller than 8 cms and I too am on holiday when the YDC ends. I'll have to give it some careful consideration. I may start it very early in the day, so that it finishes early. I won't be able to fit it in a letterbox, but the box is right at the edge of the garden where I am going to be and maybe I can keep an eye out for the collection and hand it over to the postie on the 28th in the afternoon. Trouble is that it's a bank holiday weekend. I have several other bits though which I can list.
I really want to support this, because my MIL died from the disease and a neighbour has survived it. I changed our diet years ago after MIL was diagnosed to avoid all foods that are supposed to be a contributory factor.
