And that is where such surveys fall down; they are not comparing like with like, as such the rankings are flawed. Results are also slanted by the number of a particular site's users that feel inclined to respond to the survey. I give no weight to such surveys, but admin could consider the negative comments (though some seem based on user ignorance rather than actual problems with the site) to see if action on their part is needed.

Quite a few positives in there and the biggest mover. I think the fact that eBid has risen so much shows the improvements both in the site and in selling. It is also interesting to read through. Though the eBay write-up they came in at number 5 (damn), but far more of the comments from buyers were negative, and many of them are saying that they only stay there because of the traffic and sales. Anybody on eBay reading the eBid comments should be tempted to at least take a look at us.

Next year the target has got to be getting past eBay and into the top five at least.

I never saw the survey
I usually enter it, but I did nto see it mentioned on these forums so I messed it.

I wonder how many other keen ebid users did not get a chance to vote in the survey.

Anyway being 6th overall i snto bad without all of us cheerleaders!

And yes the surveys are probably flawed but they must help get some new members.

But I still think ebid's fee structure puts many new members off joining.
