How many people here share each listing they do on facebook?
I have found that I get 6-20 extra views in 30 mins from listing the auction if I share it on Facebook.
I know they may not turn into sales but they are at least getting people to see the site who maybe havent heard of ebid.

Well if people are looking some of them must buy.

(I have a Facebook page and I have a Facebook Business page) but still need to understand more about how it all works.

Eg When you share a listing does it just get mentioned on your friends notifications ?

Or do they see each of your listings on your Facebook page ?

Someone on here posted recently that there are 'bots' that search out new listings..........they are computerized, not people. So, not all views are really people seeing your items.

I have a Facebook page for my art and also a Twitter page and the two are linked, so every post I make on my Fb page is duplicated on Twitter too - I get lots of views but so far as I can tell nothing resulted in a sale so far.... I'll keep trying though...maybe somewhere there's a bot that likes art...

I have a business Facebook page, not that I am any good at it. There was an app for getting your listings from the bay to the business Facebook page. Does anybody know of a similar app that would work for eBid? I would love to promote eBid more than I am.

I have too many items listed to put them all on facebook. my friends would soon get fed up of all the advertising and i have facebook primarily o keep in touch with my family not as a business page

I've got a business page set up for my ebid store separate to my personal account. The problem I have is you have to get people to 'like' the page and follow it, in order for them to see any updates that you put on.

I plug my listings on facebook daily in have done this now for the last 6 months and change the items 3 times a week that i plug i also plug ebid and my stores in other forums as well so yes facebook twitter google works for me
